Giving Back: Our Commitment to the Community
As the president-elect of the Rotary Club of Flagler County, I have the privilege of joining my fellow Rotarians to support projects that matter to our community. On Oct. 29, the Rotary Club made a $500 donation to WARM, SMA Healthcare's residential program for women, some of whom are pregnant and parenting, who are receiving treatment for substance abuse problems. There is something special about seeing funds go straight into initiatives that make a real difference, especially when you know it is lifting up the very community you are a part of.
Looking ahead, I am excited to serve as Club president next year and exploring more of these initiatives. From supporting local schools and nonprofits to creating opportunities for our youth, our goal is simple: to give back in ways that create lasting, positive change. And as someone who grew up with a love for community, being involved in Rotary has been a perfect fit.
Giving back is not just something we do once a year, it is a commitment we carry with us every day. Whether we are running public relations campaigns or supporting local projects, our mission is to make a meaningful impact right here at home. And if you are in the area, keep an eye out for more community projects to come. We would love to have you join us in making our communities a better place for everyone.
